A Do-it-yourself Gold Classifier Made from a Bucket - Gold Panning Supplies

This post concerns the do-it-yourself construction of a BUCKET CLASSIFIER for prospecting for gold.
The plastic pan type classifiers work ok, but can run some money. The nice thing is the water in the bucket acts as a wash for the material in the screen above. The bucket is big enough that you can put shovelfuls of material in it and classify more quickly and in larger amounts. It's kinda like a Gold Nugget Bucket without the funnel and the concentrate dish on the bottom - so it is collecting all the fine stuff. I imagine you can make the screen with mesh any size you want. Just spin the screen.
The directions are simple and this could be the answer for many a gold prospector. Look for directions at the bottom of the page. Gold panning is a lot more efficient with the right tools.
