Another Joke, "Gold in Heaven"

There once was a rich man who was near death. He was very grieved because he had worked so hard for his money and wanted to be able to take it with him to heaven. So he began to pray that he might be able to take some of his wealth with him.

An angel heard his plea and appeared to him, "Sorry, but you can't take your wealth with you." The man begged the angel to speak to God to see if He might bend the rules. The man continued to pray that his wealth could follow him.

The angel reappeared and informed the man that God had decided to allow him to take one suitcase with him  Overjoyed, the man gathered his largest suitcase and filled it with pure gold bars and placed it beside his bed.

Soon afterward, he died and showed up at the gates of  heaven to greet St. Peter.

St. Peter seeing the suitcase, said, "Hold on, you can't bring that in here!"

The man explained to St. Peter that he had permission and asked him to verify his story with the Lord.

Sure enough, St Peter checked it out, came back and said, "You're right. You are allowed one carry-on bag, but I 'm supposed to check its contents before letting it through.

St. Peter opened the suitcase to inspect the worldly items that the man found too precious to leave behind and exclaimed, "You brought pavement?"

Gold Prospector Joke

Three guys went into a gold mine and showed the manager their resumes. There was a Canadian guy, an American guy, and a Korean guy. The Canadian got to work the cranes. The American guy got hired to be the engineer for the cranes. The Korean guy got to be in charge of the supplies. One day the American and Canadian were walking down the main tunnel in the lowest level. All of a sudden the American says, "Hey. Have you seen the Korean because I haven't seen him since we all handed in our resumes together."

The Canadian says, "No, I haven't seen him either."

Right then, the Korean jumped out of a dirt mound in front of the guys and yelled, "Supplies!!"

Supposedly Second Largest Reserves in the World According to Russian Ministry of Natural Resources

Would you like a little history about the Russian natural resources? Would you like the facts? This article goes into detail about what happened to the Soviet economy from 1980 on and will give you a better idea of what resources it can bring to bear in the future. The overtures of Gorbachev were cut short, and as a consequence, the people of Russia did not appreciate the benefits of these overtures. It was a great idea. But as history can run, things did not pan out the way they were supposed to. For a good look at contemporary Russian history and the situation vis-a-vis gold, read this article.

According to www.gold.org this is the story:
Gold Reserves in Russia averaged 967.11 Tonnes from 2000 until 2021, reaching an all time high of 2299.87 Tonnes in the second quarter of 2020 and a record low of 343.41 Tonnes in the second quarter of 2000.
According to the Russian Ministry of Natural Resources, the country has the second largest gold reserves in the world at 12,500 tonnes (over 400 million ounces).

My Adventures in Gold Prospecting

Culverts to crevices, to old ore piles and grassy areas where gold has been found, to stream beds in the hills - these are all places you can discover gold. Knowing about a few of these places can increase your chances of finding color. Here's the new article I wrote. FYI

Miller Table Fine Clean Up of Flour Gold About a Hundred Bucks

For those of you who enjoy sifting out flour gold, this is a very good video about the Miller Table. It is said that it works better than a blue bowl. I have a blue bowl, and the video certainly makes it look like it is better. This would be handy for people who live in an area where there is a lot of flour gold. Of course, it all depends on what the rock is upstream to determine if a place has a lot of flour gold (and sampling).Maybe you will find this interesting also?

In a nutshell, these tables are designed to separate gold from black sand. The table surface can be made from a number of materials that are covered in the article. All the gold remains on the table surface while sand and debris fall off the table end. The article explains how to run the table and why it works the way it does. Read up on Miller tables before you make a purchase or build one yourself.

750, 585, And 417 Markings For Gold Jewelry: What Do They Mean?

Ever wonder what caratage is? I did, but then I read this article.
http://beagoldbuyerdot.hubpages.com/hub/750-585-417-gold-markings-jewelry

Since prospectors often try to sell gold, this article may be of use.
These strange numbers can be confusing. When letters are added, it can be even more confusing.

For All Gold Prospectors Who May be Having Trouble With All Browsers

I have had a problem with all browsers when trying to go to any web address. It was taking me forever to get to the address, and forever to load the web page. I finally found out what the problem is. I think it is a Windows thing.
If you are using Windows XP (which I use), follow these steps:
Go to your desktop
Right click once
Select Graphics Properties
Select Display Settings
Go to Screen Resolution and choose 1024x760
Click apply. Click OK.

I run 32 bit and refresh rate is 60 hertz. Leave that alone.
Hope this saves you time. I spent a lot scouring the net to find out what was wrong. Peace.
